The Influencer  Update

Toyota announced that they have decided to stop contributing to any of the 147 members of the Sedition Caucus who voted to reject the election results.

This afternoon, Toyota announced that they have decided to stop contributing to any of the 147 members of the Sedition Caucus who voted to reject the election results.

This is huge - Toyota had donated to 38 insurrectionist members of Congress since January 6th, the most of any company. It shouldn't have taken a public pressure campaign to get them to do the right thing, but we're glad it worked.

Halting donations is the right thing to do, and we hope that the decision is permanent.

Of course, there are still many other corporate and industry PACs that are funding the Sedition Caucus - to the tune of more than $4.9 million so far. We're going to continue fighting to hold them accountable and to get them to join Toyota in committing to stopping these donations.

But for now, this is a big win. When we speak out together and stand up against attacks on our democracy, we can have a huge impact.

Thank you,

The CREW Team
